Today marks the beginning of Medical Cannabis Week 2021 #MCAW2021 – a week long event of awareness started by PLEA Community last year.

Medical Cannabis has been legal in the UK since November 2018, when the law was changed to make cannabis a schedule 2 controlled substance – this means that under the right circumstances, it can be prescribed as a medicine in the UK.

Since then it has been changing the lives of patients who have benefited from treatment for a wide range of conditions, from pain, neurological, psychiatric and so many more.
