At Lyphe Clinic, patient care is at the heart of everything we do.

Which is why we are proud to collaborate with Cancard, a vital initiative supporting medical cannabis patients, their prescriptions and affordability in the UK. Together, we’re breaking barriers, ensuring our patients receive the recognition and care they need and deserve.

Why do I need a Cancard if I have a Medical Cannabis prescription?

You are not required by law to have a Cancard, your prescription is the only document required by Police in the event of an incident.

However, many prescription patients have both a prescription and a Cancard in order to benefit from the advocacy and increased support that it brings. Despite medical cannabis being legal in the UK since 2018, patients can often face stigma and uncertainty, so Cancard can help shield and back-up your patient rights.

Peace of Mind

Cancard displays your prescription when scanned and highlights your legal rights, empowering you to use medical cannabis confidently, so you can focus on your health journey without added stress.

Legal Reassurance

Information about Cancard is available on every single police forces intranet with a briefing from the NPCC. The police have access to a 24/7 helpline to avoid and navigate legal concerns when dealing with patients carrying their medication.

Patient Advocacy

In the event that you experience any discrimination or need some support, Cancard can step in to provide advice and even mediation in areas that you may be affected as a patient such as: family court & social services, housing rights, driving cases, venues & events, work place issues and more.

How Does Cancard Work with Lyphe?

Cancard is available at a discounted rate of 20% off for Lyphe Clinic patients, so you only pay £23.20 the first year (normally £29) and £19 each year after.

After a simple application process which, together, we can guide you through, eligible patients receive an official ID card that provides:

Clarity

Officially Stamped
